RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Developing microscale bioprocess unit operations for microscale device design and construction. Optimizing tissue-based biosensor systems for environmental monitoring, food and water safety, and detection of biological and chemical agents. Developing integrated biological/nanoscale systems as tools for functional genomics and bioinformatics.
